The Patient Protection and
Affordable Care Act signed into law in March included a
tax credit designed to encourage small employers to
offer health insurance coverage for the first time or
maintain coverage they already have. In October, the IRS
released a draft version of the form small employers and
tax-exempt organizations will use to claim the credit.
